Wage Peace

Prepare for waging peace! Get ready for the demonstrations on March 19, 2005, the second anniversary of the U.S. assault on Iraq. Share the resources and links with your friends, workmates and religious group--Miami is like the last US military outpost before the foreign bases begin, and the local media apparently believe that repeated assaults on and even occupations of other lands by U.S. troops is somehow normal and necessary to the right function of the world (editorially translated as "whatever it takes to keep the money and any really rich people coming to Miami").

Torch of Friendship is about 4th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, N.E., in downtown Miami--in front of the Bayside Marketplace, just south of the American Airlines Arena and the road into the Port of Miami

Until the web site at www.miamiforpeace.org becomes fully operational, I want a place to post news and preview events that I can easily tell others about--and that has Miami For Peace in the name! Once the web site for Miami For Peace is up and running as it should be, it will be a simple thing to let this site sit as it is, a version of archiving, and once it is hopelessly out of date, I can decide to delete it.
